New some good examples of how to implement DOM2DTM

Can anyone provide some good examples of implementing DOM2DTM which is in
xalan version 2.2_D11...
 
I have create a Java application in which the performance of parsing the DOM
needs improvement.  From what I have read DTM should improve this.
