Hello, the plugins portal is never responding (at least the times I tried), it always gives me a timeout. I tried from browser, from Apache Netbeans official website (https://netbeans.apache.org/front/main/index.html) clicking in the tab "Plugins". Changing the domain, etc, nothing worked. 
I installed Netbeans more than a month ago and it tried to update something and did give me a tiemout error. I ignored it because my Netbeans version was from a snap so I thought it is related with some snap problem. I tried to install some plugin days after that and same result. I still did think it is related with the snap version. But today I did need a Python plugin and I looked in internet and see there are one available and they suggest to use the Plugins manager in NetBeans. So I tried the plugins manager and again timeout error. Then I tried to look for that plugin manually and the page never shown. Then I did realize that the plugin portal is the right one (official) and that it is really not working (so snap is not related with it).

So, it is not working at all, it is constantly giving me a timeout and now I want to know from what trusted place can I get the plugins and updates?
Are there some backup site (or domain) for this?
I am from Argentina, May I have my IP blocked for some reason? 
Is this happening to you?

1. Check if you can connect using curl `curl -v -o /dev/null https://plugins.netbeans.apache.org/data/31/catalog.xml` and if that fails please give the output of that command
2. Please provide the `messages.log` from NetBeans. It is normally stored in `$HOME/.netbeans/$NBVERSION/var/log/messages.log` not sure how Snap interacts with it
3. If all fails, install a recent JDK on your system (Ubuntu provides at least JDK 25) and run the binary ZIP distribution for comparison.
