unformatted xml output

Hi,

I'm working with xmlbeans 1.04 for jdk1.3 and I really like it.

Currently I'm in a situation where I want unformatted xml (no indentation) of my data.
Unfortunately i can't get it to work.

Every time I call xbean.toString() or xbean.xmlText() the result is indented.
I also played around with some XmlOptions but this did not help, either.

Anybody else encountered this or am I doing something wrong?
