[jira] [Created] (INFRA-4378) Jira issue is set to status=Resolved and resolution=Unresolved

Jira issue is set to status=Resolved and resolution=Unresolved
--------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: INFRA-4378
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-4378
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Task
      Security Level: public (Regular issues)
          Components: JIRA
            Reporter: Paul Sharples
            Priority: Trivial

See https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WOOKIE-8.

This issue is closed, but still appears in the "outstanding" filter, presumably because the resolution is set to unresolved. Is there a way for me to set this to FIXED, so it doesn't show up in the outstanding issues? I can't find anywhere i can update it.

Many thanks.

Your customised Wookie RTC workflow scheme would need to be changed to allow you to re-open the issue and change its status, and/or then to not allow this to happen in the first place. No, its not a Jira bug, its the way the projects Jira has been set up.

If you want me to just fix this one issue with no changes to your scheme let me know, otherwise I'd suggest allowing the re-opening of issues after 'resolved' status.

I would but the only place I can see where I could do this is if I
select the issue and click "tools->bulk change". Going through the
screens I eventually see...

"N/A Transition Issues NOTE: You do not have permission to
perform a bulk transition on the selected 1 issues. "

So I dont appear to be able to reopen it.

thanks

Paul

Well its only ever happened once, so perhaps if you just change it to "fixed" for now? If we have the problem again, we should consider updating the scheme. I'm just wondering how the issue was set to status=resolved & resolution=unresolveded in the first place.

Many thanks
