PDFs are missing images

In order to import images in the PDFs we must use full paths. :(
I'm using the document2fo.xsl file in a small project I'm doing (yep, 
Forrest in a real life project).
Can someone please tell me how I can get the full path in the 
document2fo.xsl file, please?
If I get it running I'll do an update on Forrest, of course.
