I got the error as follow:
javax.faces.el.PropertyNotFoundException: Bean: com.test.MyList, property: currentPage
at org.apache.myfaces.el.PropertyResolverImpl.setProperty(PropertyResolverImpl.java:353)
at org.apache.myfaces.el.PropertyResolverImpl.setValue(PropertyResolverImpl.java:148)
I had defined the currentPage at the super class BaseList and provided getter and setter.I think myface should know it .
