Re: DO NOT REPLY [Bug 18094] - validate method on ValidatorForm should use mapping.getName as key to validator

Ok, I have a saved query that shows open bugs so they were showing up in my
list. When I checked their comments it seemed logical to mark as later. We
should probably decide on system for how to deal with bugs so we don't step
on each other.

I'm fine with whatever we decide as long as I can save another bugzilla
query to show just open bugs, and another for just enhancements.

Re: DO NOT REPLY [Bug 18094] - validate method on ValidatorForm should use mapping.getName as key to validator

Posted by Ted Husted <hu...@apache.org>.
The idea is that we want to start slating tickets for different families
and milestones. If your'e interested in bugs against the Nightly Build
or RC1 (and prior), then select everything but unknown.

[NOT RESOLVED, NOT CLOSED, STRUTS, NOT UNKNOWN].

http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&bug_status=VERIFIED&email1=&emailtype1=substring&emailassigned_to1=1&email2=&emailtype2=substring&emailreporter2=1&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&changedin=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&product=Struts&version=0.5+Final&version=1.0+Beta+1&version=1.0+Beta+2&version=1.0+Beta+3&version=1.0+Final&version=1.0.1+Final&version=1.0.2+Final&version=1.1+Beta+1&version=1.1+Beta+2&version=1.1+Beta+3&version=1.1+RC1&version=Nightly+Build&short_desc=&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&long_desc=&long_desc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&keywords=&keywords_type=anywords&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=&cmdtype=doit&newqueryname=&order=Bug+Number

Any enhancement that is not under active development should be against
an "unknown" build. (Since we don't know when or if it will occur.)

Tickets marked for an unknown build should also indicate a milestone
family. If you plan on working it for a particular milestone, tag that
too and assign it to yourself.

Once 1.1 ships, I plan on reviewing whatever we've already closed as
LATER and tagging it for a family. There's over a hundred of these.

I also need to check what I've tagged for 1.2.1, since I think I meant
these for 1.1.1 (the next iteration after 1.1 final ships).

-T.
