Using "java -server" in Tomcat start-up script

Hi,

I saw a performance gain by using "java -server" compared to "java". I also searched on google
and found that it increase performance of application by providing more resources to program (CPU,
RAM, etc.)

I was wonder why it is not used in starting up Tomcat (by default). Any one has experienced
performace gain by doing that?

   Thanks.

Regards,
Dhaval
