+1 Build it with hadoop-2.2.0 2.4.0 & 2.6.0 successfully. Ran some tez
examples jobs both in single-node cluster and local mode successfully.
Build it with latest pig code, and ran some pig scripts successfully.

Verified signatures; built from source and deployed on medium scale cluster.

Andre,
The TaskRunner code has changed a bit in master, and interrupting tasks is
an important part of it - so this may very well be similar to TEZ-2475. Are
the steps to reproduce this the same as TEZ-2475, and the same codebase ?
If not, could you please file a jira with details. I'll look into it.
0.8.0-alpha is a release to get the work done to support external services
into a release, and there's going to be several more in this line. I'd like
to target the fix for the issue you reported for the next release off of
this branch.

I gave that one a quick spin. Cascading 3.0 compiles fine, but it hangs in
the tests indefinitely. It looks similar to
