Handle bounces

Hi,

why i get this error ?

17/02/06 16:35:16 ERROR smtpserver: Error parsing sender address: #@[]:
Number not found at position 4


its a normal bounce from like discripted in rfc.

I know it is.  :-)  I may have misinterpreted Stefano's comment, if he
meant, literally, "@[]".  That would be invalid, since ']' is not valid
within an IP address.

Hence the error message..."number not found at position 4".  The 3rd

pretty sure James is following the specs.

Actually, they are allowed. <postmaster@[192.168.123.456]> is a valid
address.  See RFC 2821, and trace through the BNF.

You are using "#@[]" as your email sender. IMHO It is not a valid address.
AFAIK [] are not allowed in the domain part of an email address.

Bounces should be sent from the following mail address "<>".
