Schecoon competitor?

On tss I saw a link to ibm's SevletManager framework
(http://alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/servletmanager). It implements a controller
in the MVC pardadigm based on a state table defined in XML.

Has anybody seen it. Is this a competitor to schecoon?

Any comments?
