[jira] Commented: (TS-41) cache stops caching after some time (e.g.
2 weeks)
Leif Hedstrom commented on TS-41:
---------------------------------
Talking to search briefly, they say that sometimes, but not always, restarting Traffic Server "fixes" the problem. But their solution is currently clear the entire cache every so often (~2-3 weeks).
They run TS in a forward proxy mode, and probably churn the disk cache much more than, for example, our CDN usage.

> It seems that after 2 weeks or so the cache stops caching. I hear that AOL doesn't see this problem (at least since 2006).
