Automatic forward to a welcome page

Hi, I turned off the directory listing in ~tomcat/conf/web.xml.  But, I would like to automatically forward to a welcome page when user specify a URL which points to a directory.  For example, if a user specifies http://host/myapp/dir1, the user will get http://host/myapp/index.jsp.  How do I do to achieve this?  Thanks. Chiming
