They should already be in an inheritance hierarchy where 
BeanListUnivariate extends ListUnivariate.

Any sense in having ListStatistics be parent to BeanListStatistics?  Seems to
make sense semantically based on the names, though perhaps not when you
consider what the class is and its origins/etymology.
