The tiles definition xml files are not being loaded accordingly when the locale 
is being set to a specific variant.  Only language and country is loaded, 
variant is not taken into account.

issue lies at I18nFactorySet.calculatePostixes(...) method.

Problem have been fixed.  I haved emailed the patch to Cedric.
