configuring new blog setup data

hello;
i have noticed that when i  created my first user. automatically this user gets several categories (java, music, etc..) and folders (news with links to cnn inside etc..).
where can i configure this stuff? i want the default categories anf folders for newly created blogs to be different.

This can probably be moved out into the config file fairly easily ... 
we'll put this on the todo list.

Hi Dave, 

I also had a similar question. 

I saw that currently the bookmarks and blogroll links are being generated 
from UserManagerImpl.java. Any workaround/hack to change these from the 
JSPs? Scriptlet would be ok too.

Default categories and bookmark folders are not configurable in Roller 
1.X. This may change in Roller 2.0.
