[~poornachandra] - this was committed only for the 1.1 compat module (used by HBase 1.1 and HBase 1.2), but not the 1.3 or 1.4 compat module. That's pretty wonky. Also, the fixVersion was never set on this. Would be good to fix this across the board in a subsequent release.
