Data Arrived Update

Hi All,

I tried to look into archives but gave up as there are too many questions so
I could not find about what I am going to ask.

I have a need that I get data continuously (thru MDB) and a user is logged
in and doing query but he needs to know that new data

Has come how would I go about telling him that. Is there a component I can
make that gets information about new data but how?

I am using Tapestry 3

Thanks

Manoj

You could auto-refresh your page using a refresh meta tag. You could
also use Ajax to auto-refresh using JavaScript. There is a Refresh
component which does this at http://tacos.sourceforge.net, but I think
it requires Tapestry 4.
