We now have support for Unicode in embedded TTFs in 2.0, see [EmbeddedFonts.java|https://svn.apache.org/viewvc/pdfbox/trunk/examples/src/main/java/org/apache/pdfbox/examples/pdmodel/EmbeddedFonts.java?revision=1645077&view=markup&pathrev=1645083]
