"not supported" log messages

Hi,

in the logs of my CXF client I find many messages like

2015-09-09 10:44:14,150 DEBUG --- Invoking handleMessage on interceptor
org.apache.cxf.ws.policy.PolicyInInterceptor@1631303
2015-09-09 10:44:14,151 DEBUG --- Alternative
{http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-sx/ws-securitypolicy/200702}RequireDerivedKeys
is not supported
2015-09-09 10:44:14,151 DEBUG --- Alternative
{http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-sx/ws-securitypolicy/200702}Basic256Sha256 is
not supported
2015-09-09 10:44:14,151 DEBUG --- Alternative

supported
2015-09-09 10:44:14,151 DEBUG --- Alternative

is not supported
2015-09-09 10:44:14,151 DEBUG --- Alternative
{http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-sx/ws-securitypolicy/200702}RequireInternalReference
is not supported
2015-09-09 10:44:14,152 DEBUG --- Alternative
{http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-sx/ws-securitypolicy/200702}MustSupportRefThumbprint
is not supported
2015-09-09 10:44:14,152 DEBUG --- Alternative
{http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-sx/ws-securitypolicy/200702}MustSupportIssuedTokens
is not supported
2015-09-09 10:44:14,152 DEBUG --- Alternative
{http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/07/securitypolicy}Basic256 is not
supported
2015-09-09 10:44:14,152 DEBUG --- Alternative
{http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/07/securitypolicy}Strict is not
supported

They are logging only with DEBUG level, so I've considered them harmless
until now.
Are they? Or do they indicate a problem with the WS Security policies in
my WSDL file?

Best regards,
Stefan

Re: "not supported" log messages

Posted by Colm O hEigeartaigh <co...@apache.org>.
It's not anything to worry about. It just means that there are some
policies on the outbound side that are not being properly asserted by the
security code (security policy validation does not fail on the outbound
side in this case).
