The agent does not currently enforce the format of identifiers, if
the user specifies an entity name at creation time, it is also used as the identifier. The identifier should always be in consistent type/foo format.

qdstat should be parsing the identifier, not the name, as we have no control over the name (it defaults to the identifier but can be set by
the user to anything.)
