Brett Porter updated MNG-122:
-----------------------------

    Fix Version: (was: 1.0-alpha-1)
                 1.0-alpha-2
    Environment:
    Description:
we need to get rid of the traces for non-fatal errors, and give something user friendly.

The traces for fatal errors need to be more descriptive.

Summary: clean up of exception handling, error reporting and logging (was: clean up of exception handling and error reporting)

this is a big job and we can certainly get by as is. Pushed to alpha-2, and will look at covering all forms of logging to set some standards about what is INFO, DEBUG, TRACE, ERROR and WARN.
