[VOTE] Release Apache SedonaDB 0.4.1-rc0
Hello,
I would like to propose the following release candidate (rc0) of
Apache SedonaDB [0] version 0.4.1. This is a release consisting of 122
commits from 10 contributors since 0.4.0. See [1] for the release
notes.
This release candidate is based on commit:
c9e41f8478856edcb3a995ecd3b2a8a91aa8f81e [2]
The source release rc0 is hosted at [3].
Please download, verify checksums and signatures, run the unit tests,
and vote on the release. See [4] for how to validate a release
candidate.
The vote will be open for at least 72 hours.

I ran ./verify-release-candidate.sh 0.4.1 0 on MacOS 14.6 (M1).

I verified on macOS (Apple Silicon, Homebrew deps, GDAL 3.13.1, Rust 1.97.1, Python 3.14):
- Checksum (SHA512) and GPG signature OK (signed by jiayu@apache.org)
- RC tag apache-sedona-db-0.4.1-rc0 matches commit c9e41f8478856edcb3a995ecd3b2a8a91aa8f81e
- Rust: cargo test --workspace (excl. sedona-s2geography, with --features bindgen for GDAL 3.13): 3,536 tests passed
- Python: passed
