Re: [D] Customizing Big Number Conditional Formatter Colors [superset]
GitHub user dosubot[bot] edited a comment on the discussion: Customizing Big Number Conditional Formatter Colors
<!-- Greeting -->
Hi @SvenC56! I'm [Dosu](https://go.dosu.dev/dosubot) and I’m helping the superset team.

You can set vivid green, yellow, and red colors for the Big Number chart's conditional formatting directly in the chart editor UI—no need to change your theme or code. In the Conditional Formatting popover, you’ll see default options (success, alert, error) that use theme colors, but these are often pale because they’re designed for backgrounds. To get stronger colors, just pick your preferred green, yellow, or red from the color picker or enter a hex code for each rule. This will override the default and apply your chosen color to the chart instantly.
If you want all charts and UI elements to use more vivid colors by default, you’d need to adjust your theme’s semantic color tokens (like `colorSuccessBg`, `colorWarningBg`, `colorErrorBg`), but this affects the whole app. For per-chart customization, the popover UI is the fastest and most flexible way to get the look you want.
[See how the chart plugin applies your selected color directly from the conditional formatting config](https://github.com/apache/superset/blob/829e4d92d91ceae4b43b1ed3b063ffe45377799c/superset-frontend/plugins/plugin-chart-echarts/src/BigNumber/BigNumberViz.tsx).
