Thanks! I'm starting to look at this now. I've been posting some comments
to the currently open issue:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-4045

I think my preference would be to have a fairly static version of the "web
site"; basically pointers to other, more lively web locales (repos, bugs,
wiki).

And speaking of a wiki ... has anyone opened a JIRA request to create a
wiki? ( http://www.apache.org/dev/reporting-issues.html#wiki ). I assume
we *want* a wiki?

It appears we can use either a moin-moin wiki or a Confluence wiki (aka
cwiki). I haven't used either in years, but seem to remember that
Confluence sort of new about JIRA somehow, in terms of auto-link-ifying or
being able to list JIRA issues or something. Guess I'd prolly pick
Confluence based on that scant knowledge.
