[jira] [Commented] (SPARK-26043) Make SparkHadoopUtil private to Spark

Ryan Pifer commented on SPARK-26043:

Is there a new way to add credentials to UserGroupInformation since this API was removed? We were using the SparkHadoopUtils.addCredentials API to do this and are now facing breaking changes. I don't see this mentioned anywhere in a migration guide or release notes

> This API contains a few small helper methods used internally by Spark, mostly related to Hadoop configs and kerberos.
> It's been historically marked as "DeveloperApi". But in reality it's not very useful for others, and changes a lot to be considered a stable API. Better to just make it private to Spark.
