Currently Selenium is configured, for admin console, to run via selenium-maven-plugin, updated to Selenium 2.30.
Unfortunately, this version is reported [1] to have a long-standing bug with latest (>= 23.0) Firefox versions.
It seems that Selenium 2.40 solves such issue, but it requires a Maven configuration change, according to [2]
