[jira] Created: (INFRA-626) Create mail alias httpcomponents-cvs pointing to httpclient-cvs

Create mail alias httpcomponents-cvs pointing to httpclient-cvs
---------------------------------------------------------------

         Key: INFRA-626
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-626
     Project: Infrastructure
        Type: Task
  Components: Mailing Lists
    Reporter: Oleg Kalnichevski

Jakarta HttpClient project has been recently rebranded as Jakarta HttpComponents. I renamed the top level SVN directory from jakarta/httpclient to jakarta/httpcomponents. That apparently broke the svnmailer script. Commit messages are no longer delivered to httpclient-commits mailing list. I suppose the quickest fix would be to create an alias httpcomponents-cvs pointing to httpclient-cvs.

Thank you

Oleg

André,
Many thanks for such a prompt response. Looks like the mailbox the alias needs to point to should be httpclient-commits or something. Apparently httpclient-cvs does not exist. Sorry about the mess

[jira] Commented: (INFRA-626) Create mail alias httpcomponents-cvs pointing to httpclient-cvs

Posted by "André Malo (JIRA)" <ji...@apache.org>.

André Malo commented on INFRA-626:
----------------------------------

I've added a section to the svnmailer config. Assuming the autocheckout works, mails should go httpclient-cvs@ now. If you plan to rename the mailing list, we just need to remember that there's a special section for your case.
