[jira] Created: (MEV-594) log4j 1.2.15 shouldn't be built by java 1.6

log4j 1.2.15 shouldn't be built by java 1.6
-------------------------------------------

                 Key: MEV-594
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MEV-594
             Project: Maven Evangelism
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: deckrider

It seems inappropriate to host a log4j jar built by java 1.6, since so many use this. It took me a long time to understand why my java 1.5 project wouldn't work with it, while 1.2.14 worked fine.
