   A time stamp from controller (or edge server), and break out of init time in invoker could provider more insight into the activation lifetime at user level. For sequence this information is partly available already because the controller gates the entire execution and writes the activation record. For non-sequences the flow is one way from controller to invoker wrt the activation record although the time back to the controller for active acks (blocking invoke) would not be recorded (would require shifting the record authoring or a second db write).
