Category for www.apache.org listing
Hi everyone,
last week I wanted to check about the state of the various webframeworks of
Apache. To get an idea which frameworks are available I visited
www.apache.org and opened the "Index by Category" and couldn't find Sling
with all the other webframworks - even worse, I couldn't find it at all
since it has no category assigned at all, it just can be found in the
alphabetical listing or by language.
Then I checked the various frameworks and their most recent releases to get
an idea about the activity. Again Sling has no release at all listed which
makes it hard to get an idea if the project is active at all.
It would be great if
a) at least the web-framework category could be assigned to Apache Sling
b) the most relevant releases would be maintained like engine and sling api
or the parent project
Thanks & best regards
Dominik

I have created SLING-3770 about this, if you can suggest improvements
to our sling-doap.rdf file that would be fantastic.

Thanks for the input, Dominik.
To be honest, I don't know where/how we can change those things on the
Apache website. Maybe someone has a hint?
For the release, we'll we're far behind a Sling 7 release and I seriously
think we should tackle this now.

Carsten
