Plan for upgrading Debezium library for Apache DebeziumIO Connector

Hello,

Per the official document, the version of v1.3 is still being used in the
latest version of the DebeziumIO Connector. But the latest version of
Debezium is already 3.0. Could you please tell us if you have plans to
upgrade it? Thanks.

We are not running into any issues with that, just wanted to check if there
is a plan, thanks for your information.

I don't know of anyone with plans to do this upgrade; with that said, if
you're running into issues with the older version and want to contribute a
patch, I at least would generally be in favor of trying to do this upgrade.
We would need to be careful to keep it backwards compatible, though, or at
the very least clearly call out where it breaks compat in the changelog
(I'm not sure how much drift there will be).

Thanks,
Danny
