related projects; subversion tools; user tools

My company (based on my suggestion) is attempting to use Subversion (0.27)
on Windows.

One of the nice features missing from Subversion (or its clients)
was the lack of integration with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET.
We were actually considering switching to Visual Source Safe just for that
feature.

I was quite surprised to hear about the existence of AnkhSVN, which does
exactly that.
Luckily, I am subscribed to the users mailing list where it was announced.

Is there someplace on your website where you list all SVN related
clients/projects - especially
those hosted on tigris.org? I just looked and didn't see such a place.

Another example of a related project is viewcvs, which supposedly supports
SVN,
although I see nothing about Subversion on the viewcvs website.

Might I also suggest that you distribute any good tools/hook-scripts (such
as hot-backup) during the
installation procedure, so we don't have to download the entire source tree
if we'd rather not build it.

Finally, is there anyplace where you keep all of the user-submitted
utilities - some of which were announced and
described on this mailing list?

Thanks,
Chuck

Ideally I'd like to see all the maintained tools
(plus all of the user tools) enumerated/described;
but, I'd happily settle for just the URLs of the tools and contrib folders
as you've listed below (added somewhere to the website)

(plus references to TortoiseSVN, RapidSVN, AnkhSVN and any other important
related project)

Someone posted to the dev list a day or so ago to say that he was
compiling this sort of information. Maybe there will be something like
this on the web site soon :)

I think the subversion-tools RPM has some of them, but if you want them
and don't want to download and build the whole source tree, just
download the bits you need from:

http://svn.collab.net/repos/svn/trunk/tools
