Hi Rolf,

Sorry to respond to such an old bug report.  (Did you ever get this to work?)  
I've used Anakia with ant 1.5 under Win XP and it's worked fine.  (Velocity 
1.3)  Looking at the error message I'm guessing you've a problem with your 
classpath leaving out commons-collection.jar.  If you still have problems, 
post to velocity-user and I'd be glad to help.    WILL
