[jira] Created: (UIMA-1885) Allow placeholders for endpoint names in deployment descriptors

Allow placeholders for endpoint names in deployment descriptors
---------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: UIMA-1885
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/UIMA-1885
             Project: UIMA
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Async Scaleout
    Affects Versions: 2.3AS
            Reporter: Eddie Epstein
            Assignee: Marshall Schor
             Fix For: 2.3.1AS

UIMA AS deployment descriptors allow ${placeholders} for brokerURL values which are resolved via Java properties, but require fixed strings for endpoint values. There are scenarios where endpoint names should also be variable; one example are tools used to drive arbitrary service queues.
