[jira] [Commented] (CASSANDRA-12176) dtest failure in
materialized_views_test.TestMaterializedViews.complex_repair_test
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-12176?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15375407#comment-15375407 ]
Jim Witschey commented on CASSANDRA-12176:
------------------------------------------
I see no reason for this to fail:
https://github.com/riptano/cassandra-dtest/blob/e29fc2e6759b90324a701f88e1ba045926536ef6/materialized_views_test.py#L962-L963
All that happens in the test is:
* call {{prepare}}
** create the cluster
** create a keyspace with {{create_ks}}
*** {{USE}} that keyspace
* create a table
That last {{CREATE}} failed here because the keyspace didn't exist. I don't think that should be possible, since the same {{session}} running that {{CREATE}} successfully ran a {{CREATE KEYSPACE}} and a {{USE}} on that keyspace. So, I think this is either an environmental flake of some sort, or a pretty worrisome bug.
Running this test 300 times here to see if this repros:

Adding this to the developer review queue -- I'm not sure what to do beyond trying to run until it reproduces.
