[VOTE] Release Mahout 0.5 artifacts
https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachemahout-024/org/apache/mahout/mahout/0.5/
This is what we propose to release as Apache Mahout 0.5. Have a look over
the weekend; planning to release Sunday night if no problems are found.

Not quite done yet. Drew just posted a patch that I think takes care of everything (haven't tested myself yet)

I see a commit for MAHOUT-694. Am I right that:
1) That can be resolved,
2) Any additional issues it raises may be opened in a new JIRA targeted at
0.6,
3) Nobody sees a reason I can't re-roll the release?

Tested with Grant's latest M-694 patch. Reuters works locally but still has the same problems on the clusters. Tested all the synthetic control examples on CDH3 & MapR clusters. The 20 newsgroups example works fine on MapR but I'm getting a
Version Mismatch between client and server... command aborted.
Error on my CDH3 cluster. Odd, since all the other jobs ran fine there.

I think the vote should actually be on https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachemahout-024/org/apache/mahout/, as that contains the full list of artifacts that are being released.
