[VOTE] Release of Apache Phoenix 2.2.3 incubating RC4
Hi everyone,
This is a call for a vote on Apache Phoenix 2.2.3 incubating. This will be
our first release in the incubator. The release includes both a source-only
release and a convenience binary release. The last RC was sunk because of
errors in the LICENSE and NOTICE files.
The source tarball, including signatures, digests, etc can be found at:
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/incubator/phoenix/phoenix-2.2.3-incubating-rc4/src/
The binary artifacts can be found at:
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/incubator/phoenix/phoenix-2.2.3-incubating-rc4/bin/
Release artifacts are signed with the following key:
https://people.apache.org/keys/committer/mujtaba.asc
KEYS file available here:
https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/incubator/phoenix/KEYS
The tag to be voted upon is v2.2.3:

Checked md5.
Ran unit tests.
Ran rat check for files w/o licenses. Examples files are missing licenses
but not enough to sink this RC I'd say as long as addressed next time
around.

Verified content of source and binary tars looked good. Deployment worked
fine and performance is also on par with last released version on Github.

Installed release on HBase cluster, created tables and secondary indexes,
ran aggregate queries, ran perf run with 100K rows. Looks good!
Also reviewed LICENCE and NOTICE files for both source and binary releases,
and all looks good to my untrained eye.
