j2 maven plugin question

Hi,

Is it the expected behaviour for maven j2:remove.wars to remove the
entire /webapps directory from tomcat?
It did in my case - and that was not what I thought it would do....

(I'm trying to incorporate a myfaces/jsf application in the portal, so
I guess there will be lots more questions shortly :)
