compatibility

I would like to download your software as it looks like a great product for us. I have read other places that it is intended for Mac OS X Lion only up to version 10.6.  My computer has version 10.7.2. Will Openoffice work on my computer? Is there anything special I need to download or do?

There have been reported some annoyances by a few users using Lion but
nothing that could prevent you from using OpenOffice.org :-)

In case of a small error window popping up instead of starting
OpenOffice, mostly if you had installed a previous Version of OOo on a
previous version of Mac OS X then deleting the user preferences
(located in your users Library/Application Support/OpenOffice.org
folder) should help

Also there is no support for Versions, Full-Screen, and Resume in OS X
Lion. Programmers wanted :-)

To be fair - if you like a even better OS X integration (tradeoff
maybe speed in some cases but things have improved) then perhaps
NeoOffice is also worth a try.
