Customize a toolbar with the command "Fontwork" from the category "Format".
Draw an arc and apply text to it. (Use double-click or key F2 to get into edit
mode.)
While the arc is still selected click on new icon "Fontwork".
You get a window with some tools.

Notice, that the window is too small and not high enough and therefore the
tools in that window are not usable, see attached screenshot.
