[jira] Commented: (INFRA-2711) Confluence Wiki for Wink is duplicated

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-2711?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12867692#action_12867692 ]

Donald Woods commented on INFRA-2711:
-------------------------------------

The first link is your "live" confluence space. The second link, https://cwiki.apache.org/WINK/ is the autoexport generated site (static HTML) which is the preferred pages to point users to for read-only needs.
You don't currently have an autoexport template, so it's using the default behavior, which generates ugly sites.
The fix, is to create your own template and then have a confluence admin load it in for you.....

> This one is correct and good:
> This one is old and bad:
> I'm not sure if it's something wrong we've done in our Wiki, but I couldn't find an obvious way to get rid of that top-level URI. We need to get rid of it though. It keeps showing up in Google searches, and will give users stale and bad info.
