Need to turn off email notifications

Greetings;

I was having a problem with Open Office and made a mistake signing up for email notifications about my problem. Now I am getting way too many per day and none address the problem I had. I need to turn off these emails but Open Office will not recognize the user name I used. Can you help me get into my account or just turn them off for me?
