sjfink opened a new issue #2331: introduce a 'binary' kind to distinguish from 'docker' kind
URL: https://github.com/apache/incubator-openwhisk/issues/2331

I think the "modern" way to do arbitrary actions (https://www.ibm.com/blogs/bluemix/2017/01/docker-bluemix-openwhisk/), which injects a binary into a container, is fundamentally different from the original "docker" actions which download a docker image from dockerhub.

I propose calling the new ones "binary -- this issue will entail introducing the new 'kind' and documenting.
