load testing take into account of the first thread/user or not?

Dear all,
 
It's not specially a Jmeter's question but I would like to know if you
exclude in your test's result : the first thread.
 
I test here a web application, deployed on the application server  and
the results are ok.
But only a bit high for the first thread.
 
My cache is refreshed every hour, but i know also there is a cache of
the application server.
 
How is your practice with that?
