Currently the ITs are executed against JR2 and Oak (newest version). Instead of testing against ancient JR2 I would propose to instead run the tests against two different Oak versions:
* the minimum version being supported according to prerequisites (should be the Oak artifacts from the compile classpath, currently 2.16 according to https://jackrabbit.apache.org/jcr/downloads.html#vlt)
* the newest version of Oak (this requires tweaking the test classpath with https://maven.apache.org/surefire/maven-failsafe-plugin/examples/configuring-classpath.html).
