The test fails sometime when all live tests are run and always fails when run on its own. 

My brief (possibly incorrect) diagnosis:
The problem appears to be with cloning TemplateOptions. 
Null is compared to Optional.Absent() and an error is raised because they are not equal. 

Failed tests: 
  GoogleComputeEngineServiceLiveTest>BaseComputeServiceLiveTest.testOptionToNotBlock:825 options didn't clone properly
  GoogleComputeEngineServiceLiveTest>BaseComputeServiceLiveTest.testCreateAndRunAService:706->BaseComputeServiceLiveTest.createAndRunAServiceInGroup:723 options didn't clone properly
  GoogleComputeEngineServiceLiveTest>BaseComputeServiceLiveTest.testAScriptExecutionAfterBootWithBasicTemplate:223 options didn't clone properly
  GoogleComputeEngineServiceLiveTest>BaseComputeServiceLiveTest.testConcurrentUseOfComputeServiceToCreateNodes:475 » Execution
