Thee problem is not limited to particular proceeding as per original report,
but a general Hyperling Dialog issue:

21. Form AOO Start Center open New Spreadsheet
22. Click 'Edit Hyperlink' Icon in Standard Toolbar
    > Hyperlink Dialog appears
23. Select 'Internet' in Hyperlink Dialog
24. Arrange Document to left half of screen and Hyperlink Dialog in Document
25. Menu 'File -> New -> Text Document
    > New writer Document will be opened, Hyperlink Dialog shown
26. Arrange Document to right half of screen, Hyperlink Dialog in Document
27. Select 'New Document' in Hyperlink Dialog
28. Toggle between both documents, you will see that both have their own
    Hyperlink dialog


(g) So if Hyperlink dialog is opened when new (or existing) document will be
    opened newly opened document will show it's own Hyperlink dialog
immediately
    after document has become opened
(h) also other dialogs (Insert Field, ..) show this behavior
(i) Has been rated as "not an issue" for "Bug 102633 - Hyperlink-Dialog 
    visible when opening new document", but I can't understand the reasoning
(k) Seems related to or DUP of "Bug 20276 - Documents will be opened with 
    open hyperlink dialog window "
