cvs

hey guys...i know this is not the best place to ask this, but this is a
place for cocoon users so i'll ask anyways...
i finally decided to play around with cocoon2 and (for the first time access
the cvs repository). i have never user cvs (i run win2k) and just downloaded
winCVS. however i have no clue as to how to connect to the repository and
get the files. is anyone else using winCvs? if so can you help? if not, and
you are using win2k, is there a better way?
