We want to make sure we use schema data to return binary attributes as byte[] values in Attributes. Also we need to make sure we assess the value of this property while transforming results into binary or just keeping them as-is. We also need to make an assesment of how we handle Strings verses byte[] data within the provider especitially where normalization is concerned.
